Your main responsibilities:
Take system responsibility for mixed signal electronics hardware within our FMCW LIDAR systems, including development and test of hardware for prototypes and calibration facilities
Screening, coordination and leading of electronics design and chip design partners
Make concept decisions based on analytical models or simulation
Align concepts and architectures within Scantinel team and with partners
Documentation of the concepts and development results
Ensure compliance with automotive norms and standards
You should have:
A university degree in electrical engineering or similar
Extended professional experience in electronics development
Expert know how in mixed signal electronics design (discrete electronics and ASIC)
Experience in the specification and development of electronics systems via partners and suppliers
Experience in electronics design tools (e.g. schematic design, PCB design) and electronics simulation tools (schematic simulation, signal integrity) as well as ASIC design tools
Knowledge in the calculation of reliability and/or failure probabilities of electronic assemblies
Experience in automotive electronics and electromechanics (e.g. automotive connectors) is a plus
Experience in electronics manufacturing and quality and lifetime assessment is a plus
